Laura’s Zippered Tote is a fully lined Handbag or Tote bag and has an easy to insert zipper. You have the option of a single outside pocket or multiple pockets that wrap around the entire bag. The pockets on the inside/ lining can also be wrapped around or single patch pockets. There are 4 sizes to pick from:
- Small Handbag – 10″ Tall X 13″ Wide X 4″
- Large Handbag – 10″ Tall X 15″ Wide X 4″
- Briefcase – 12″ Tall X 17″ Wide X 5″
- Overnight Bag -14″ Tall X 19″ Wide X 5″
Our Kit Includes: Everything you need to make any of the 4 sizes listed above. Interfacing, Fusible Fleece, Main Fabric, Contrast Fabric, Lining Fabric, Zipper and Pattern
Additional Notions needed: Thread to match
For making the handles we suggest: 2 1/2" - 1 1/4" Fast Fold
If you want to make a bag size other than the "Overnight Bag", you may want to get:
Small Handbag – 14″ zipper and Decor Bond Interfacing – 1 yard
Large Handbag – 18″ zipper (cut down to 16″) and Decor Bond Interfacing – 1-1/2 yards
Briefcase – 18″ zipper and Decor Bond Interfacing – 1-1/2 yards
Overnight Bag – 20″ zipper and Decor Bond Interfacing – 2 yards
